For Studio Bachmannkern it was a special task to design the location of the traditional brand Rosenthal in New York City. Because on the 1st floor of Forty One Madison, near Madison Square Park, is the flagship store. The 23-story building was designed by star architect Emery Roth & Sons. Nearly eighty well-known manufacturers of gift items, tableware and housewares are represented with their showrooms and stores.

Rosenthal, founded more than 135 years ago, develops products that are characterized by exceptional form, function, quality and craftsmanship and represent a cultural asset "made in Germany" that always combines innovation and creativity. The task here was to create a unique presentation for the umbrella brand and its sub-brands in the midst of this "competitive situation" in order to make the claim to uniqueness and perfection a lasting experience.
