Digital twins for real and virtual trade fair communication

Digital twins for real and virtual trade fair communication

From 3D data to digital twin

For our customers, we fully exploit the possibilities of 3D representation - from the design phase to the trade fair itself. Scenographic simulation in virtual reality can be very helpful even during the design phase. But also for the trade fair period itself, digital twins of the real booth are helpful. Not all target groups come to the trade fair. This can be short-term weather events, but also events such as currently an epidemic viral disease.

For us, every design is created in 3D by default, and for presentation there is always a version in virtual reality as well. This is because scenographic simulation can be very helpful even in the design phase. For example, virtual camera flights around and into an exhibition stand or the simulation of lighting and media use on the screen are possible. Virtual reality goes one step further, "behind the screen".

Therefore, the effort to create a digital twin that can be experienced virtually from a distance is manageable. This can be made possible via the screen of a laptop or smartphone on the Internet or on social media as well as via VR glasses. Content in the form of text panels and/or videos can be integrated.
We are currently implementing this for an exhibitor and customer. Due to current events, the planned stand will not be set up at Light+Building, but can be experienced virtually worldwide from any device.
